No illegal substances found in Desiigner's vehicle, some charges will be dropped

Last week, rapper #Desiigner was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell and criminal possession of a loaded weapon after police were called to a traffic dispute. Someone alleged that Desiigner and four other people in his car flashed a gun at them around 9 pm Thursday evening which prompted police to search the vehicle.

Police discovered prescription drugs, a gun and marijuana on the floor of the car, so the rapper was immediately taken into custody. However, it turns out that the information brought against Desiigner was false. The pills that were found were not illegal substances. They were steroids that allegedly belong to his driver, so all charges, except for the criminal possession of a controlled substance, have been dropped.

“As we reported, law enforcement told us the stash of pills in the SUV console were OxyContin, methadone and steroids. According to the criminal complaint against Desiigner and the others in the SUV, the arresting officer believed the pills were methamphetamines.

Turns out, all the pills were steroids, including methandrostenolone, PharmOne Oxandrolone and Halotest Fluxymesteron. In all, there were 302 pills in various Ziploc bags … all steroids.”
This was about to be such a close call for the 19 year old! He could have been facing about 15 years behind bars. Could you imagine going to jail for something that petty? Unfortunately it happens every day.
