Ramadan Fast to continue today

Muslims will continue the Ramadan fast today Tuesday July 5th, due to non sighting of the moon. According to the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, the new moon (of Shawwal) was not sighted as at Monday night in Nigeria and so the month of Ramadan would complete its 30-day circle. Eid-Fitr is now to hold Wednesday 1st Shawwal 1437 A.H 6th July.
